Imphal, March 19 2013: The Tribal Youth Council has organised a consultation programme today at Manipur Press Club.
Speaking at the consultation programme, Speaker of TYC, Luikang Lamak said that no developmental work has been taken up in hill districts.
He pointed out that the Mini Secretariats at the district headquarters of Chandel, Senapati, Ukhrul and Tamenglong were constructed sans quality maintenance.
The mini secretariat constructions are far from completion.
Even construction work is not initiated at Tamenglong headquarters.
Representatives of UCM, MSF and TKLI participated in the consultation meet.
UCM President, Y Nabachandra assured possible assistance for speeding up developmental works in the hill areas.
