Imphal, March 18 2013: The 14th death anniversary of Dr Ningombam Ibobi was observed today at the Auditorium of DM College of Arts.
The important highlights of the anniversary observance programme, organised by Dr Ningombam Ibobi Singh Memorial Trust, were a memorial lecture and offering floral tribute at the portrait of the late Dr N Ibobi.
Thounaojam Iboyaima, Chongtham Nodiyachand and RK Tomansana also paid their respect to the late Dr N Ibobi at the occasion.
Education Minister M Okendro and Principal of DMCA, Dr A Nungshitombi Devi graced the programme as the chief guest and president respectively.
The memorial lecture was delivered by Prof N Joykumar, Head, Department of History, MU on Political Development in Manipur, 1950-1972 .
