Imphal, March 23, 2013: Following a ‘concrete response’ from the Government to the demand raised in connection with the killing of driver Th Kiran, the JAC against the brutal murder of Th Kiran has called off its general strike from 1 pm of today (Mar 23). A marathon meeting between JAC representatives and the CM was held today at the Chief Minister office today.
The meeting was also attended by MLA of Thongju AC, Th Bishorjit and MLA of Keirao AC, Karam Tha-marjit.
This JAC has also decided to claim the body of Th Kiran, following the meeting, a statement issued by the JAC informed.
