Imphal, March 19 2013: Newly elected MPP president N Sovakiran has warned that fitting disciplinary actions would be initiated against party members who work against the party’s rules and unity.
It was very unfortunate that certain reports of corruption involving some former functionaries of the party were published in some section of media.
There is no controversy or disagreement about financial matters within the party, Sovakiran clarified.
Conveying gratitude to all party workers and sympathisers for electing him as the 14th president of MPP unopposed, Sovakiran appealed to all former functionaries of the party to work collectively to strengthen the party.
MPP advisor O Joy was also present at the press meet.
