Dr K Sushila bound for London

Imphal, March 21 2013: At the invitation of London’s British Library, Deputy Director of Manipur State Archives K Sushila Devi would be presenting a talk on ‘conservation of ancient Meitei manuscripts’ at British Library.

Sushila left Imphal for London today.

During the visit, she would also discuss mechanisms to identify materials related to Manipur prior to 1891 Anglo-Manipuri war, from 1891-1947 up to Manipur’s independence, from 1947-49 up to Manipur’s merger into Indian union.
