Jiribam, March 13 2013: The only art college of Jiribam, Virgo Art College was inaugurated at Babupara, Jiribam.
Dr Ch Bijia Devi Principal, Jiri College graced the function as Chief guest while S Sushila Devi, President All Jiribam Meira Paibee and Nabakumar Sinamcha were the guest of honour and president respectively.
The College is affiliated to Rabindra Bharati College Kolkata under Kolkata University.
Speakers of the function stressed on the importance of art.
M Promen Singh is the Principal of the Virgo Art College.
