Imphal, March 07 2013: Ngazekmi Awungshi Shishak was today coronated as the headman of Shangshak Khullen village in Ukhrul district taking over from Nungrei Awungshi Shishak, who had served the village as the headman-in-charge for 38 years.
A number of well known personalities, including retired Chief Justice W Shishak, founder Principal, Emeritus of Patkai Christian College and founder Principal of Patkai Christian Academy, Rev Dr Tuisem Shishak addressed thye gathering.
The two Shishaks, siblings, also belong to the same village.

PRO to the Ukhrul AC MLA, Johnson Ankang, representatives of various organisations of the district including Tangkhul Naga Long, Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong and headmen of 10 neighbouring villages attended the coronation function.
