Imphal, March 14 2013: A free medical camp was organised today at Ima Kondong Lairembi Haraobung, Moreh wherein around 500 patients including Myanmarese nationals were administered medical treatment.
The free medical camp was jointly organised by United Committee, Manipur (UCM) and Meetei Council Moreh (MCM).
15 doctors and other paramedic staff conducted the free medical camp.
Besides spreading awareness on Malaria, tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, patients were also provided free X-ray imaging, ultrasonography imaging and minor OT facilities during the camp.
Meanwhile, the UCM demanded the authority concerned to provide adequate staff to the Moreh sub-district hospital and take fitting action against irregular doctors and employees.
