Imphal, March 10 2013 : The Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim has decided to abstain from work on March 11 in support of the Bar Council of India’s stir to be staged in protest against brutal assault of lawyers in Jaipur and Chandigarh.
The protest would be peaceful and staged in most dignified way, said a press release.
