Imphal, March 17 2013 : Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) and Khurkhul Apunba Nupi Chaokhat Lup jointly organised a public meeting against drug trafficking at Khurkhul Lamkhai today.
Speakers of the meeting condemned drug trafficking in the State.
They said that people have been unable to raise voice against alleged involvement of influential persons in drug trafficking.
However, it had become evident from the drug hauls of Pallel, Mantripukhri and Imphal Airport, they said.There are also still many cases in which the owners of the drugs are unknown, they added.
Later, around 300 people took out a rally, said a CADA press release.
