Imphal, May 27 2013: Sarangajit Khundrakpam, Associate Professor of English, DM College of Arts has been appointed as the Secretary of Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur on deputation.
An order was issued to this effect by the Deputy Secretary (Education/S) on May 25.The post of Secretary in COHSEM has been lying vacant as the deputation period of Dr Hamom Nabachandra has completed.
Sarangajit Khundrakpam would assume office for two years from the date of the issue of the order, said the missive.
Meanwhile, the annual felicitation programme of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur would be held on May 31 at JNMDA Hall, source in the Council said.
