State lad tops Nagaland Class X Board exams

Imphal, May 21 2013: Helaluddin Shah s/o Md Islauddin and Sanarembi of Borayangbi under Kumbi AC has topped the HSLCE 2013 conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education, results of which was declared in the intervening night of May 20 and 21 .


Helaluddin Shah, a student of MGM Hr Secondary School, Dimapur scored 96.16 percent to top the exam.


Meanwhile, a statement issued by the All Manipur Muslim Students’ Organisation (AMMSO) has congratulated Helaluddin Shah on his achievement.


Helaluddin’s father is a teacher in a private school at Dimapur.


In a telephonic conversation with the Education Secretary of AMMSO, Helaluddin attributed his success to hard work, determination, constant family support and the blessing of Allah.


He is quoted to have said that he dedicated 6/7 hours for study per day.


He wants to serve the people of Manipur as an IAS officer after pursuing his study at any of the IITs.


His parents run a hostel at Dimapur besides his father teaching at a private school.


Helaluddin is the fourth child among five siblings.

Unlike Manipur, there is no frequent bandh and blockade in Nagaland which provides ample study atmosphere for the students.


As all the syllabi are covered in an academic year, there is no need of taking extra tuition class, the AMMSO statement quoted Helaluddin as saying.


Meanwhile, the AMMSO has also extended hearty congratulations to all the successful candidates of the HSLCE exams conducted by BSEM and NBSE.


Incidentally, Wangmayum Mustakim, Sahrab Jubeir and DP Sakib secured the 16th, 18th and 19th positions respectively in the recently announced HSLC Exam 2013 conducted by the BSEM.


The AMMSO would organise a felicitation for the successful students in a short time.


Congratulates : The Gangte Students’ Organisation (General Headquarters) has congratulated all successful candidates, particularly its members who appeared at the HSLC Exams 2013 conducted by BSEM.


A statement issued by Information and Publicity secretary of GSO Paulallien wished all the successful candidates a bright and prosperous career ahead.


At the same time, it also congratulated Jennifer Lamthiennei d/o J Soitinthang Gangte of New Lambulane who secured the 2nd position in the BSc (Home Sc) final exam conducted by NEHU, Shillong.
