Imphal, May 26 2013: Heritage Convent today felicitated its students who secured position and scored high marks in the HSLC Exam 2013 .
During the reception function held at the school premises, executive director of the school Sanjenbam Bikram handed over a cheque of Rs one lakh to Longjamcha Parihan who secured 18th position.
Moreover, Loukham Austin Memorial Award carrying cash incentive of Rs 8000 was conferred to L Parihan.
Late Austin was a student of Heritage Convent.
Parihan was given cash prizes by many other people during the function.
Six other students of the school who secured 80 per cent marks and above in the same examination were given one laptop each and text books in addition to documents for free assessment of internet for one year sponsored by different people.
Out of 41 students who appeared in the HSLC Exam 2013, 29 passed in first division and 11 in second division.
