Imphal, May 25 2013 : Pukhramba Kajao, a great Manipuri warrior in Anglo-Manipur war, was fondly remembered on his 123rd death anniversary held at his memorial at Kangmong Meisnam Leikai today.
MP Dr Th Meinya, Konthoujam AC MLA K Sarat and PKMT president S Heramani Khuman were the chief guest, guest of honour and president of the function respectively.
Former Minister M Nara also attended the observance as guest of honour.
Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Dr Arambam Lokendrajit, Prof Kshetri Bimola of Manipur University, former Director of Education (S), Dr M Kriti, MEEHUL Lalloihanjaba Okram Manglem, social worker N Nabakanta spoke on life and contribution to the society of Kajao.
