Imphal, May 24 2013 : Highlighting the scores of inconveniences faced by the people of Kasom Khullen Subdivision due to prolonged absence of responsible SDO/BDO and delayed in inauguration of the new office building, the Kasom Khullen Subdivision Development Association (KKSDDA) has warned of launching agitation if the authority concerned fails to inaugurate the new office building by June 15 .
A statement issued by Chairman of Kasom Khullen SDDA, SL Theimiso pointed out that the construction of the new SDO/BDO office building had been completed and the same was handed over to the SDO/BDO concerned on Dec 19, 2011 .
The concerned authorities were approached for the inaugural of the office building, but nothing has been done so far till date, the KKSDDA lamented.
Instead of inaugurating the new office building, the BDO/SDO concerned rented a room and open branch office at New Checkon, Imphal, it alleged.
It further appealed concerned organisations, societies, intellectuals, etc of Kasom Khullen subdivision to extend cooperation towards this end.
