Imphal, May 24 2013 : A three-day training programme on ‘cushion making’ organised by People for Social Development commenced from today at its Singjamei Mathak Chongtham Leikai office.
As chief guest of the inauguration programme, Assistant Director of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles T rollee Vareishim reminded the trainees that taking part in training programmes in not only essential in any field but would also prove helpful in making quality products.
Vareishim also emphasised on the need to conduct more training programmes in diverse fields so that the educated unemployed youths earn healthy income and live a decent life.
Chief advisor of the training host Prof N Mohendro Singh and advisor Beena Adhikari also attended the event.
