Imphal, May 16 2013: Water hand pumps would be installed at ten villages under Singat AC which were also within the jurisdiction of Saigaikot TD Block by the PHED’s Investigation Plan and Design cell.
The circle MLA, GS Haupu Zou and officials of the PHED have surveyed the villages where the hand pumps are said to be installed.
Process for the installation of the hand pumps would begin next week.
A hand pump each would be installed at the cost of Rs 3.5lakh.
