Imphal, June 24 2013: The officers and men of CRPF have decided to donate one day’s salary to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund expressing deep empathy with the victims of the tragedy at Uttarkhand.
According to a statement of 69 Bn CRPF, the donation amount will be over Rs 18 Crore.
An announcement to this effect has been made by Pranay Sahay, DG CRPF, in New Delhi.
SP Singh, IG M&N Sector CRPF and all officers and ranks of Manipur and Nagaland sector CRPF also extended their deepest condolence to the victims of the tragedy, the statement added.
