Imphal, June 23 2013: A team of CDO/IE arrested one active member of KNF (N) Seikhongam Haokip (45) S/o Paojatong Haokip of P Leiyangphai at present residing at Porompat from Kongpal Kongkham Leikai near Nightingale Nursing Home.
A press release issued by SP Imphal East said, Seikhongam stated that he is working directly under the command of S/S C-in-C of KNF (N) James of Saikul.
He was engaged in extortions from the officials and staffs of Autonomous District Council, collection of percentage from the job-card holders in the name of KNF (N) .
He further disclosed that he helps in transportation and supply of foods from Imphal for the arms cadres of KNF (N) who were sheltered in the hilly regions of Saikul.
He also gives information of the people residing in Imphal to their S/S C-in-C James for delivering demand notes of the outfit, the release added.
