Imphal, June 22 2013 : The Southern Tangkhul Naga Baptist Association (STNBA) has vehemently condemned the rape of a tribal woman from K Somrei village by one Md Sanayai of Mayai Keithel who also robbed Rs 9,000 from her on June 17 .
A statement issued by the executive secretary of STNBA, Rev S Tuithang said the act of the rapist was an assault to humanity and dampening the spirit of living together.
The statement further appealed all concerned to take appropriate action against the rapist and bring justice without any delay.
