Imphal, June 16 2013: The Zomi Revolutionary Army (ZRA) has disposed off a huge cache of drugs seized by its cadres from various locations during their anti-drug operations carried out last night at about 9pm, reports our CCpur correspondent.
Sources said the assortment of drugs consigned to flames in the presence local reporters included 17 strips of RP tablets, 8 strips of Nitro, 17 tablets of WY (World is Yours), and about 300 gms of heroin.
The value of the disposed drugs was estimated to be more than Rs 2 lakhs.
The armed outfit, presently under a tripartite SoO with the Government, has apprehended and produced a twenty-year-old woman drug peddler alongside the drugs before they were set aflame at around 11pm.
