Imphal, June 14 2013 : Delegates of the All India Tribal Students’ Association (AITSA) Delhi and Mongoloid Peoples’ Forum (MPF) Delhi heard the grievances of the residents and JAC of Kabo Leikai, Naga River Lane today at the residence of former Minister and MLA Y Erabot, who is rehabilitating the victims.

Condemning the ‘inhuman, voidable and communal act’ of the present State Government, a statement issued by the convenor of MPF, K Zou said the manner in which the State Govt handled the situation and imposition of 144 CrPC randomly and the conduct of the security personnel reflected the system of Governance in the State.

The Constitution of Indian and the law of nature never allow forcible eviction of citizens within 24 hours of issuing the eviction order, the statement said while adding the law of the land gives every citizen a time to defend and protect themselves and their properties.

It said that Manipur is the only State in the country to make a mockery of the Court’s order.
