Imphal, June 12 2013: The Eastern Sporting Union (ESU) has condoled the sudden demise of Angom Sarat Singh of Wangkhei Angom Leikai (77), former president and general secretary of the union, who passed away on June 8 .
Members of the union observed two minutes silence as a mark of respected to Angom Sarat while also sharing the grief of the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, the Special Olympics Bharat Manipur Chapter has condoled the untimely demise of its player Ningthoujam Premchand Singh (22) of Kongba Nongthombam Leikai.
In its emergency meeting, members of SOB Manipur Chapter have observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the departed player.
The members also offered prayer so that the departed soul may rest in peace.
