Imphal, June 12 2013: A three-month old infant was charred to death in a fire that broke out at a house at Phaimol village under Chassad PS in Ukhrul district yesterday.
Sources said the fire also completely gutted the residence of one Onlam Haokip (37) .
Three-month old, Baby Moikim d/o Onlam Haokip was charred by the fire.
Besides, 20 bags of grains and other properties were reduced to cinders.
Social organisations like KSO Chassad and SEKYO have arranged temporary relief for the victim family, sources said.
