Imphal, June 08, 2013: One Rifleman of 5 Bn Manipur Rifles posted at a construction site of Northern Frontier Railway in Tamenglong district has fled taking with him four rifles.
Rifleman Jamkholal Lupho posted at a railway construction site near Chingphutung village fled with one AK rifle, one INSAS rifle, two SLRs and ammunition last night, informed a source .
Jamkholal is a native of Maphou Kuki village under Saikul sub-division of Senapati district.
Another source said that Jamkholal might have taken shelter with a faction of the United Tribal Liberation Army.
