Imphal, June 12 2013: Leader of a KCP-MC faction, Nongdrenkhomba Meitei has joined KCP (Lamphel) to be part of the Suspension of Operation currently with the Government and KCP factions.
As part of the arrangement, he was released from Sajiwa Central Jail today.
30-year-old Ningthoujam Romen alias Nongdren-khomba of Kumbi Thingel Leikai, Bishnupur district is the Commander-in-Chief of KCP-MC (Nongdrenkhomba Meitei) .
He was arrested by Delhi police on October 31 last year from Agra.
Nongdrenkhomba will now hold the post of Secretary (Organisation) in KCP (Lamphel) .
He would be shifted from Sajiwa Central Jail to 46 Assam Rifles Post, Churachandpur, said a source.
It may mentioned that KCP (Lamphel), KCP (City Meitei) and KCP (Taibanganga) had jointly inked an MoU with the State Government.
