Thoubal, July 20 2013 : As a part of extra curriculum, a Cultural Meet was held to inculcate the values of one’s own cultures in the mind of young students at VM High School, H Wajang village in Chandel District today.
The programme was attended by T Doukholun Haokip, Chairman School Managing Board and TM Holkhokhai Haokip, Secretary school managing board as the chief guest and functional president respectively in which large numbers of parents attended.
During the program, cultural dances of Thadou-Kuki, Chothe, Lamkang and Meitei were performed by the students who were attired in their traditional dresses.
Folks songs and other cultural related activities were also highlighted during the programme by the students.
