Imphal, July 17 2013: President of India, Pranab Mukherji conferred Sadar Patel Outstanding ICAR Institution Award, 2013 to Director, ICAR Research Complex, Dr SV Nagachan for North Eastern Hill Region at New Delhi on July 16, on the 85th Foundation day of ICAR, said a press release.
The National Award, The Sardar Patel Outstanding ICAR Institution Award 2013 was given in recognition outstanding performance by the ICAR institutes and Agricultural Universities in the country and it is the first time that the ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region receives this award, added the statement.
