Imphal, July 23 2013: 170 gram of heroin was seized from two individuals by 24 AR personnel at Khudengthabi Check post today.
Based on specific information, the AR personnel at Khudengthabi recovered the drug from an Imphal bound Swift car (MN-03P/1919) while conducting checking at Khudengthabi today around 11.30am.The owners of the contraband drugs have been identified as Lalboi (53) s/o (L) Chongpi Gangte and SL Latcha Silhou (47) s/o (L) Chongsei Sitlou, both from Moreh Ward No 9 M Chahnou Veng.
Besides the drugs, Rs 26,500 was also recovered from them in cash.
