Thoubal, July 21 2013: The Great Thoubal Facebook Group today planted a number of flowers and tree saplings at the new Thoubal market in association with Thoubal Municipal Council, European Manipuri Association, Korean Manipuri Association and the Green Revolution Society, Manipur.
The programme held under the theme “My City, Clean City” was attended by Thoubal DC T Ranjit and Thoubal Municipal Council Chairperson Y Bijen as chief guest and president.

MAHUD Director N Gitkumar, Jugindro Akoijamba, EMA president Okram Bishwarjit and Green Revolution Society Manipur secretary Okram Kenedy were also present at the function as guests of honour and special invitees.
Led by DC T Ranjit, around 500 flower-pots with flowers were hung up at the new market complex of Thoubal town.
In addition, 200 saplings of different flowering trees were planted on the road median between Thoubal bridge and Thoubal police station.
