Imphal, July 26 2013 : In its continued demand for the transfer of Ukhrul DC, the Tangkhul Frontal Organisation (TFO) has launched non-cooperation movement from today as a part of its second phase of agitation.

The district administration was paralysed due to the stir launched by the TFO today.

Volunteers of TFO kept strict vigil on the movement of the staff and others at the Mini-Secretariat.

Essential services are exempted from the purview of the agitation though.

The TFO functionaries today said that no public would be allowed to step in Government offices and all Government employees would abstain from attending their offices until the DC gets transferred.

They also said that no general public or Government employee will be allowed to attend/obey any meeting/order of the Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul.

Concerned individuals should be held responsible for any action for violation of the restriction, they warned.

They added that the Government should own responsiblity for any untoward incident arising during the course of the movement.

Recently, the TFO had imposed public curfew in the district demanding the transfer of the DC.
