Imphal, July 27 2013 : In view of the reported rising incidents of cyber-crimes in the State, the Imphal East district police has started a Cyber- Crime Unit, consisting dedicated officers to investigate such crime at the district headquarters.
According to a statement issued by the SP (Imphal East), the team would assist in investigation of any cyber-crime registered in police sta- tions of the district while informing all concerned to register cases of cyber-crime to any of the police stations within Imphal East.
