Imphal, July 01 2013: The handing over of charges of the new executive Members (2013-2015) of All Naga Students Association Manipur (ANSAM) was held at the office of ANSAM yesterday in the presence of many student leaders and seniors.

Seth Shatsang, Jonah and Ratan Leivon are the new president, general secretary and asst gen secy respectively while Souni Kapa is the new assembly speaker.

The outgoing president Kumo Shah while congratulating the new executive members expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped the Association during his tenure.

He also expressed his hope that the new team will work with greater vision and commitment to attain their goals.

Samson Remei, former president UNC explained that without ANSAM, the fight for the tribal rights of the southern Nagas is incomplete and so ANSAM should spearhead the movement like alternative arrangement and the peace process in a state like Manipur.
