Imphal, July 16 2013: A 24-hour bandh was imposed along Imphal-Moreh section of NH-2 today on the demand to book the culprits involved in the killing of DK James alias Mosilpha of Minou village in Chandel district on July 3 last.
The bandh that began from 6 am today was called by the JAC formed in connection with the killing of DK James.
Bandh supporters in large number turned out at various locations along the highway and blocked the road.
Bandh supporters also damaged a Honda Splendor bike along the highway today.
